Book Reading by Gordon Chin, September 12, 1:00-2:30pm, SF Public Main Library

Gordon Chin discusses his new book, Building Community, Chinatown Style, A Half Century of Leadership in San Francisco. The founding executive director of the Chinatown Community Development Center will recount how grassroots community leadership led to a national model for community development.

A book sale and signing will follow the event.

Co-sponsored by the San Francisco History Center and the Asian American Studies Department, San Francisco State University.
