Asian Pacific Islander Women Making History, Saturday, March 12th, 10:00am-12:30pm, SF Public Main Library

“APIA Women Making History Event” is cosponsored by Asian American Studies, The Association of Chinese Teachers (TACT), Square and Circle Club, and the SF Main Library. Going on our fourth year of collaboration, the content generated for the event is developed by students in AAS 510 (Asian Americans in California) and AAS 512 (Asian American Children's/Adolescent Literature) classes. In celebration of Women's Heritage Month, there will be exhibits, books, games, and craft activities related to APIA women. The goal of the AAS/TACT collaboration is to create a database of free Asian American Studies curriculum and resources for K-12 teachers.
