Isabelle Pelaud's co-edited antholoogy, Troubling Borders: An anthology of art and literature by Southeast Asian Women in Diaspora,  was given the Bronze Book Award by the Association of Borderland Studies. She also published the essay, "Le Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN): Tisser un reseau autour de l'art dans la diaspora vietnamienne. Valerie Soe was awarded a SFSU Office of Research and Sponsored Research Program small grant for her documentary film project,  “Love Boat: Taiwan."

Grace Yoo's co-authored book with Barbara Kim, Caring Across Generations:  The Linked Lives of Korean American Families,  won the American Sociological Association,  Asian/Asian American Section 2015 Book Award.
