AAS Faculty Accomplishments include the following for the month of August and September 2015.

Isabelle Pelaud has been invited by the First Biennial Conference of the Association for Asian Studies in Africa to present the paper,"Wheel"

Valerie Soe presented a paper, History, Culture and Power: Love Boat: Taiwan film project, at Visible Evidence XXII documentary studies conference at the Ryerson University, Toronto

Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales was quoted in the Huffington Post   on the California State Aseembly passage of  A.B. 101 and the  growing movement to include ethnic studies as part of public school education 

Grace Yoo co-authored with Yeon-Shim Lee (Social Work)  and Anoshua Chauduri (Economics),  Caring from Afar: Asian H1B Migrant Workers and Aging Parents  in  the Journal of Cross Cultural Geronology.
